POSITION SUMMARYRadiologic Technologists perform medical exams using X-rays on patients to create images of specific parts of the body.
The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease.
Radiographers prepare patients for the exams, move patients to the correct position, operate the equipment, and use their knowledge and skill to minimize the radiation dose to the patient.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESSome, but not all, of the responsibilities of this position include; Performs Radiographic procedures in accordance with hospital standards, State and Federal regulations in a time frame not to exceed 30 minutes for all routine procedures.
Possesses a full knowledge of radiographic positioning and technique.
Provides care of all patients based on age specific criteria.
Interviews patients to obtain pertinent information and clinical history to complete the request form.
Provides patients, families and others with instructions and educational information to complete the requested procedure.
Provides the necessary documentation to ensure compliance in a multidisciplinary approach for patient care.
Processes and correlates patients' record to assure accuracy in the maintenance of the medical record.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS High school graduate or equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology program an AMA approved school.
Ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) and/or certification by the New Jersey Board of Examiners.
Must have full knowledge of all aspects concerning radiation protection.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
